The use of brick, although more discreet, played a significant role in Baroque architecture, with several building façades featuring geometric patterns made of brick. Inside palaces, this material was employed in the more hidden areas, where stucco or tile was unnecessary; vaulted ceilings and brick walls helped maintain cooler temperatures in a city that, despite being near the sea, experiences high summer heat. Today, this space houses the gym, where guests can exercise, leaving the finest wine selection for the restaurant.
